But in essence, you’re lookingfor his approval to give you a sense of self-worth instead of generating it internally.But using romance to shore up self-image is an unstable foundation.

Sometimes the devil allowspeople to live a life free of trouble, cause he doesn’t want people want themturning to God. Your sin is like a jail cell, excepted, it’s all nice andcomfy. And there doesn’t seem to be any need to leave. The door is wide open,till one day, time runs out, the cell door slams shut, and suddenly, it’s toolate.
