阎幽磐(Joakim Enwall):1965年生于瑞典斯德哥尔摩。1984年至1987年在斯德哥尔摩大学学习俄语和社会语言学,1987年在格鲁吉亚国第比利斯大学学习格鲁吉亚语并开始从事社会语言学研究,1988年在瑞典哥德堡大学学习阿拉伯语和梵文,1989年至1992年在中国中央民族大学学习苗语并开始从事苗族的语言历史研究。曾获俄语、汉语双学士学位及汉学苗语专业博士学位,1996年开始在瑞典驻华大使馆负责文化、新闻、教育、学术、体育等工作。
