今天搭乘「拉瓦爾品第」号离开的是聖道公會雲南府傳 道部的 邰慕廉牧師和夫人，他們正前往英國休假。 邰慕廉先生在雲南府傳 教了44年，來自英格蘭西部一個著名的循道宗家庭，他的父親大約40年前是普利茅斯和其他西部地區最著名的牧師之一，而他的兄弟作為 Plymouth Hoe中學學校的校長，在很多年來，使該區的教育和公民生活得到了顯著的認同。邰慕廉夫婦由他們的女婿和女兒，馬建忠牧師和夫人陪同。

Leaving to-day on the Rawalpindi are the Rev.and Mrs F. J. Dymond of the United Methodist Church Mission Yunnanfu who are proceeding to England on furlough. Mr. Dymond, who has worked as a missionary in Yunnanfu for 44 years,comes of a well-known Methodist family in the West of England his father some 40 years ago being one of the best-known ministers in Plymouth and other Western circuits, while his brother as headmaster of Plymouth Hoe Grammar School, has for many years been prominently identified with the educational and civie life of the borough. Mr. and·Mrs. Dymond are accompanied by their son-in-law and daughter, the Rev. and Mrs. K.W.May.
